Cost effective and convenient
We’re all becoming more used to working online and tutor-led training on Zoom is proving to be an effective way of gaining new Microsoft Excel skills quickly. Your can have staff taking part in the training from different offices and remotely from home, all within the same session.
How does virtual training on Zoom work?
You simply join your online training event at the prearranged time, using a link which we email to you. Once in the virtual training room, you will be able to see the tutor’s live demonstrations and be guided step by step through each exercise, just as you would face to face. You will also be able to share your own desktop and speak with the tutor who can coach you individually as required.
What equipment do I need?
All you need to take part in a Zoom online training session is a PC or laptop with a microphone and speakers or headphones / earbuds. A webcam is not essential, although you can use one if you wish. Most laptops come equipped with everything that you need and taking part in virtual online training is now very simple and fuss free.
Can I interact with virtual online training?
Absolutely and this is one of the big advantages of tutor-led live training. You will be able to ask questions at any point, just as you would in a classroom situation. Virtual Zoom classes are kept to a maximum of 10 learners to ensure that everyone receives as much personal tuition as needed.
How long are virtual training sessions?
Zoom training sessions are run as individual modules and cover topics for beginners, right up to advanced levels. Excel has 4 levels of training: Foundation, Intermediate, Intermediate+, and Advanced. Each level consists of two modules which are two and a half hours in duration. A full level in Excel can therefore be achieved in just 5 hours of tutored Zoom training.
Do I get anything at the end of the course?
After completion of all the modules at a particular level, you will receive a personal certificate of achievement which counts towards your CPD. Each level of training carries it’s own certification.
Free Training Needs Analysis
If you would like assistance in choosing the correct level of training, we can provide a free Training Needs Analysis service. This consists of a simple tick-box form which can be completed in a couple of minutes. Just email the form back to us and we will then advise on the most appropriate level of training to suit your personal needs.
